visd p-tech recruitment

The Office of Innovation has begun recruiting efforts for the Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) pathways.

Beginning October 24, P-TECH Administrator Dionne Hughes will visit with eighth graders at Cade, Howell, Patti Welder, and Stroman Middle Schools to share information about the P-TECH pathways: Healthcare, Engineering, Computer Science, and Education & Training.

During campus visits, current P-TECH students will discover what to expect in their pathway, what a student can expect in time for studying and assignments, and more.

The Office of Innovation will host an event for families and students to learn more about each pathway and application process. If your child is interested in a P-TECH pathway, RSVP HERE. The P-TECH family event will be held Monday, November 14, 2022, at the Victoria College Student Center from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The P-TECH Interest Form opens on Monday, October 24, and will close on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
