Victoria ISD is kicking off another year of the District Digest, the districtโs quarterly publication designed to keep families and the community informed about what is happening across VISD.
The first edition of the 2026โ27 school year will be distributed to students on Thursday, Sept. 24 to take home and share with their families.
Each edition of the District Digest provides a look at the programs, accomplishments, initiatives and opportunities shaping the student experience across Victoria ISD. The publication also provides families with important district information and highlights the work taking place in classrooms and campuses throughout VISD.
This first edition of the school year will feature updates and stories from the opening weeks of 2026โ27, giving families an opportunity to learn more about how VISD is Elevating Excellence for students across the district.
The District Digest is distributed in English and Spanish to help ensure families across Victoria ISD have access to district news and information. Parents and guardians will also receive a text message Thursday reminding them that the District Digest is coming home with students and encouraging them to ask their student for their copy.
In addition to the printed publication, each new edition of the District Digest will be available online. Families and community members can also view past editions at visd.net/districtdigest.
The District Digest is published quarterly by the Victoria ISD Communications Department as part of the districtโs ongoing efforts to provide proactive, timely and consistent communication with families and the Victoria community.
